Christmas 2009!

The festive season is fast approaching and we thought we'd let you know what we are up to for Christmas this year! We will be at three Christmas markets- Paradise Point on Sunday the 13th of December from 7am- 12 noon, Hope Island Links on Sunday the 20th of December from 8am to 12:30pm, and the Sanctuary Cove moonlight markets on Thursday the 17th of December from 5pm to 8pm. Over the Christmas period (and at all of the aforementioned markets) we will be selling our usual cupcakes and mini cupcakes, as well as Christmas pineapple fruit cakes, old fashioned fruit cakes, homemade fruit mince pies and melt in your mouth shortbread.

Cupcake weddings with Cupcake Passion...

Our wedding cupcake packages are amazing- and getting more and more popular! Here are some of our 2009 wedding cupcake towers...











News...

Wow- we have so much news it is unbelievable!

* We will be opening a shop in the Marina Quays Village, Hope Island on December 5th 2009.

* We are now selling our homemade Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla extract- the first batch will be ready just before Christmas!

* We will be at the Sanctuary Cove Night markets on Wednesday November 25th selling our delicious cupcakes and mini cupcakes, fruit mince pies, shortbread and fruit cakes... yum!

* We are no longer at the Marina Mirage or Gold Coast Turf Club markets- but will be continuing at the Hope Island Links Golf Club, and Paradise Point markets!

* Our menu will be changing to coinside with the shop opening- check our www.cupcakepassion.com.au closer to the time for more details!

* We will soon be selling 15cm and 20cm cakes- great for birthdays!

* In February 2010 we will be starting beginning cake decorating classes...

* And last but not least- we will have delicious moist pineapple fruit cupcakes, fruit mince pies (homemade fruit mince on a melt in your mouth shortbread base), old fashioned rich fruit cakes, and shortbread biscuits available for Christmas!

Cupcake Passion News...

Cupcake Passion are now selling their delicious cupcakes and mini cupcakes at three Gold Coast markets:
1. The Gold Coast Turf Club markets in Bundall every Sunday from 7-12,
2. The Paradise Point markets on the 4th Sunday of each month from 7-12, and
3. The Marina Mirage markets on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays of each month.

We are currently updating our website and will be adding in some new flavours, events and photos. We are also now using a courier to send our cupcakes all around the Gold Coast area, as well as to Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and the Northern NSW area.

About Cupcake Passion...

Cupcake Passion bake fresh daily with the freshest, finest ingredients ensuring the highest quality, tastiest cupcakes possible. Not only do our cupcakes look gorgeous, they taste amazing! We take no shortcuts, using various delicious recipes to ensure that not only the icing on each cupcake flavour is different, but each actual cupcake differs from the next (ie we are not simply icing the same plain vanilla cupcake with a different icing)! All of our cupcakes are hand made and decorated with love. Our passion really does show in our cupcakes!

Cupcake Passion can cater for your everyday cupcake needs, as well as for special occasions such as weddings, birthdays, baby showers, corporate events, high teas, valentines day, christenings, proposals, mothers day, fathers day, graduations, Christmas, Easter and anything else you can think of.

Cupcake Passion was started in early 2008 by mother and daughter team Val and Kate Jewell. Both come from a long line of very talented cooks and bakers, and have inherited their passion for food and feeding others from generations before them. Val has spent many years baking for friends and family, and feeding anyone who crosses her path. She is a mother of five, two of whom are chefs. Since her eldest (who is now 27) was a baby she has been passionate about icing and cake decorating. Kate is the second eldest and the only girl. She is an accredited practising dietitian with a passion for food, nutrition and health. She has ensured that only the best and freshest ingredients, such as real butter, free range eggs, fresh fruit and citrus zests, and the highest quality vanillas and cocoas are used in every cupcake.
